The Complete Fruit Trifle

Fruit Trifle for Dessert or Breakfast

This recipe is suitable for anyone trying to reduce their intake of sugar. The fruit trifle is delicious, made with fresh ingredients and does not contain any added sugar. The sweetness comes from just the fresh fruits.

Although there is no added sugar of any kind, do check with your physician if this dish is suitable for diabetics. Although fruits have fiber and many nutritive ingredients, they do have a sugar content.

I had this fruit trifle for breakfast. It can also be eaten as a dessert. If you would like, you can add a blob or 2 of coconut cream. Here is the link on, How to make Coconut Cream

If you prefer to use regular whipping/fresh cream please go ahead and use that.

Here is the recipe for Fruit Trifle.

** I usually buy unsweetened peanut butter from a supermarket. In fact there are stores that have machines where you can grind your own nuts to make peanut butter. If you do not have this resource, try making your own if you have a powerful blender. Some stores also sell bottled unsweetened peanut butter. If nothing works out, then simply skip this step.

Please feel free to use other fruits in this same way. It is very quick and easy to make and yet looks so appetizing. The best thing is that it there is no added sugar. As mentioned previously do ask your doctor about the quantity of fruits a diabetic is able to consume in their diet.

You may also subsitute with other fruits, and if you do, please let me know.
